Practical HR is based in Southend-on-Sea Essex and was formed in May 2002 to provide small and medium sized businesses with support and solutions in the area of human resources and employment law.

The team at Practical HR understand how frustrating HR and employment law can be - but also how essential it is to get it right in order to ensure the organisation has flexibility and minimise liability. And it is a fact that  smaller businesses are the most vulnerable when it comes to employment disputes. Practical HR therefore take a commercial approach to HR and put you back in control. Practical HR Ltd was founded by Director Paula Fisher who has worked in Human Resource Management for over twenty five years. She has held senior HR positions within corporate organisations and in 1997 completed a law degree, graduating with a 1st class honours. Paula has also has a Master Degree (LL.M) in Employment Law and Employee Relations. Paula has been providing HR and employment law support to SME's for over fifteen years, working predominantly with organisations who do not have their own HR department. Paula says .....
